The Harris TS90 Cable Fault Finder is a Tone Generator Fault Locator and a Cable & Wire Manager all in one that is competitively priced and easy to use. You can measure up to a distance of 2500 feet from just ONE End of any two or more conductor cable. With the TS90 it is easy to find the distance to shorts or opens on coax security wire electrical wire or telephone wire. It will allow you to find and fix problems avoiding the hassle of blindly cutting into walls or pulling new wire. Another great use for it is inventory management of cable stock in warehouses and trucks by allowing you to generate more accurate job bids by quickly assessing your needs and managing your cable stock with grater accuracy. Its perfect for technicians who are unfamiliar with Time Domain Reflectometery (TDR) since its results appear as a distance reading rather than in a waveform. There are 5 distinct tones in determining exact wire and pair identification even in the proximity of current-bearing cable due to its patented SmartTone technology. If you accidentally clip onto an energized pair (up to 250VAC) and there is voltage detection by the unit an alarm will sound immediately. The TS90 Cable Fault Finders features include a large LED screen one-button operation high voltage detection it is moisture proof it measures constantly while "On" it displays a distance reading rather than waveform it works on any 2 or more conductor cable it can measure cable distance on a spool its tone generator positively identifies a pair and it instantly measures the distance to an open or any fault from one end of any cable pair.
